Which Eligenda Roma treatment should you choose?
By Emanuela Silvi, founder of Eligenda Roma.
Eligenda Roma’s Linea Nobile consists of five face treatments: a cleansing milk, a toner applied after washing, and three cosmetic treatment products. The Travel Kit contains the same five treatments in smaller sizes.
Faced with a range like this, the recurring question is where to start. The answer depends on two things: which step is missing from your current routine, and what you want to achieve over time.
This guide explains each treatment’s role, the order of application and which combinations make sense for different needs. The range’s documents describe the products as suitable for all skin types and morning and evening use. This is the brand’s guidance: tolerability remains individual, especially with reactive skin or allergies.
In this guide
The five Linea Nobile treatments
The five treatments follow the natural order of a complete routine. Begin with cleansing, then apply your chosen products, generally from lighter to richer textures. Toner is optional; each formula’s directions remain the reference.
Restorative Cleansing Milk
This is the range’s cleansing step: an emulsion to massage in gently and rinse off, removing make-up and surface build-up.
The leaflet lists aloe juice, shea and apricot butters, strawberry extract, plant oils and glycerine, alongside lavender and sage extracts. These describe the formula; their presence alone does not establish a clinical antioxidant or sebum-regulating effect for the finished cleanser.
Size: 200 ml. If your current cleanser causes discomfort or tightness, consider a formula your skin tolerates better. Our guide to using cleansing milk explains application and rinsing.
Rejuvenating Facial Toner
This follows cleansing milk in the Eligenda sequence. The leaflet describes an alcohol-free toner containing chamomile, helichrysum and witch hazel waters, calendula and cucumber extracts, and glycerine.
Apply it with a cotton pad to your face and neck after cleansing. Size: 200 ml.
It can add a feeling of freshness and comfort to your routine. It is not essential for everyone, does not permanently change pores, and should not be considered a treatment for persistent redness.
Global Action Serum
This is the range’s serum, applied before cream. The documents present it as a treatment for a smoother, more radiant-looking complexion.
The formula includes Myrothamnus flabellifolia, sodium hyaluronate in three molecular weights, carrot extract, Kigelia and Quillaja, a peptide blend and glycerine.
The data cited in the Myrothamnus materials concern the active ingredient. They do not show that the finished serum works for more than 48 hours after one application. Follow the leaflet: apply a few drops to your face, neck and décolletage morning and evening. Size: 30 ml.
Delicate Eye Contour Cream
The eye cream is intended for cosmetic care around the eyes. It can contribute to hydration and comfort; dark circles and puffiness have different causes and do not always respond to a cosmetic.
The formula combines hyaluronic acid in three molecular weights, a blend of biomimetic peptides, collagen and elastin, caffeine, ginkgo biloba extract and Centella asiatica extract. Shea butter and jojoba oil complement the moisturising and emollient action.
Size: 15 ml. The leaflet recommends a small amount, spread gently from the inner eye area outwards, morning and evening.
Global Action Cream
This is the range’s cream, intended as the final treatment step for hydration and comfort. Size: 50 ml, for day and night use.
The documentation lists a marine-derived exopolysaccharide, sodium hyaluronate in three molecular weights, Kigelia and Quillaja, hydrolysed silk, peptides and emollients. The roles of these ingredients do not amount to evidence that the product redefines facial contours.
Directions are set out in the official technical sheets and product leaflets. Eligenda Roma’s catalogue also describes active-ingredient studies: their findings relate to those preparations, not guaranteed percentages for the finished cream.
Where to start, according to your goal
A practical way to choose is to start with your goal. These are the four most common approaches.
If your cleansing routine needs attention
First, consider whether your cleanser removes residue well without discomfort. Cleansing that causes discomfort or dryness needs reconsidering before you add other products.
The suggested sequence is Restorative Cleansing Milk followed by Rejuvenating Facial Toner. This is the range’s proposed order; toner remains optional and should be chosen according to preference and tolerability. Our dedicated guide explains what toner does and how to apply it.
If your focus is wrinkles and firmness
When signs of ageing are your priority, start with Global Action Cream for the moisturising stage of your routine.
The next product you might add is Global Action Serum, applied before cream. Combining them does not automatically guarantee better results. For dryness around the eyes, you can also consider Delicate Eye Contour Cream to care for that area.
If your main concern is the eye area
If dryness around your eyes is the main issue, consider a treatment intended for that area, such as Delicate Eye Contour Cream, checking how well your skin tolerates it.
You do not need to pair it with a cream for the rest of your face for it to work. Dark circles and puffiness may involve pigmentation, anatomy or other causes. Our guide to dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles helps distinguish the concerns and set realistic expectations.
If you want the complete routine
If you want to adopt the full Linea Nobile routine, you can approach it in two stages: first preparation with cleansing milk and toner, then treatment with serum, eye cream and face cream.
If you would rather try the whole sequence before choosing full sizes, the Travel Kit contains mini versions of all five treatments, described below.
Serum, cream and eye cream: how they differ
Serum comes before cream and has a texture designed to spread in small amounts. The name alone does not demonstrate a higher concentration or deeper action.
Cream completes the routine with an emollient texture and moisturising ingredients. Its purpose is not to physically trap every active ingredient applied beforehand.
Eye cream is intended for the area around the eyes. The range’s leaflets list caffeine, ginkgo and centella among its ingredients.
Choose according to the area and concern you want to address. Add a step if it is useful, without treating the full sequence as compulsory.
Eligenda Travel Kit: the complete range in smaller sizes
The Eligenda Travel Kit contains all five treatments in mini sizes: Face Cream 10 ml, Eye Cream 5 ml, Face Serum 3 ml, Cleansing Milk 30 ml and Facial Toner 30 ml.
It has two practical uses. The first is travel, with compact containers; always check airport and airline hand luggage rules before departure. The second is trying the range: it lets you experience the complete sequence before deciding which full-size product to buy first. It can also make a gift if you know the recipient’s preferences.

Order of application
The sequence set out in the range’s leaflets is:
- Restorative Cleansing Milk, massaged gently onto the face and neck, then rinsed off.
- Rejuvenating Facial Toner, applied with a cotton pad after cleansing.
- Global Action Serum, a few drops on the face, neck and décolletage.
- Delicate Eye Contour Cream, a small amount spread gently from the inner eye area outwards.
- Global Action Cream, applied with light strokes to the specified areas.
In the morning, finish the cosmetic routine with suitable sunscreen when exposed to the sun. None of these five treatments should be considered a sunscreen. If you use only some of them, keep the order of your chosen steps. Our dedicated cleansing guide explains the technique in more detail.
Introducing treatments and judging results
Introducing one product at a time helps you recognise your skin’s response. With reactive skin, it is particularly useful to proceed carefully. This guidance on trying a cosmetic explains how to start on a small area.
Comfort and softness can change quickly, while other effects require longer, more specific assessment. The duration of an active-ingredient study does not establish a deadline for results from the Eligenda product containing it.
Choose a manageable, well-tolerated routine. When you open a new product, our guide to cosmetic expiry dates and PAO helps you understand the packaging information.
Frequently asked questions
Which Eligenda Roma treatment should I start with? Start with a specific need. For cleansing, consider Restorative Cleansing Milk; toner is an optional addition. For moisturising, the range offers Global Action Cream. You do not need to introduce every product together.
Should serum and cream be used together or as alternatives? You can use them together, applying serum before cream as directed in the leaflets. Not everyone needs both, however: consider your needs, texture preferences and how well your skin tolerates each product.
Are Linea Nobile treatments suitable for sensitive skin? The documents describe them as suitable for all skin types, but responses are individual. Check the INCI list for fragrance and any known allergens, and introduce one product at a time. For dermatitis or marked reactivity, ask a dermatologist for advice.
Is it better to start with one treatment or several? One product at a time makes it easier to assess tolerability. Although cleansing milk and toner belong to the same sequence, you do not need to introduce them on the same day.
Is the Travel Kit suitable for trying the range? It contains the five treatments in small sizes, allowing you to assess their textures and use. For air travel, check the rules that apply to your journey.
In what order should the treatments be applied? The range’s sequence is cleansing milk, toner, serum, eye cream and face cream. Follow the leaflets for amounts and application; add suitable sunscreen in the morning when exposed to the sun.
